KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2025

Travel report from London.

Together with over 12000 other cloud native enthusiasts, our very own Anders-Ove and Ola attended the KubeCon+CloudNativeCon Europe in London from Tuesday April 1 to Friday April 4. A four-day event packed with learning, insights and inspiration from over 600 speakers on multiple themes including security, compliance, networking, observability, AI and platform engineering.  

Day 1 kicked off with multiple co-located events to warm up before the real madness of KubeCon started on Wednesday. We saw a lot of project updates, and real-life experiences of small and large companies at different stages of their cloud-native journeys.  

On the following days we got to see some great keynotes from Apple, HSBC, Spotify and eBay talking about how they utilize cloud native technologies to run their businesses at massive scale. Ericsson and Vodafone shared how these technologies are driving 5G and 6G advancements, and finally our local CNCF ambassador Hans Kristian Flaatten from NAV talking about how they have built a cloud native platform to streamline development for the Norwegian public sector.

After the morning keynotes each day, we explored the many breakout sessions for more fantastic talks from industry experts on a wide variety of topics. Between talks, we had time to explore the solutions showcase where companies have stands with demos, small presentations and interactive games to win some cool merch!  

Back home, we are eager to unpack everything we have learnt and take some inspiration from others in building the best possible platform for Etuity Core. Thanks to CNCF for another amazing event and we are excited to see the evolution of KubeCon next year in Amsterdam!
